We are enjoying the guest blogging here at The Danettes. So much fun and so great with some new inspiration from some lovely ladies. We wanna thank Miss Hjorth for joining us the last couple of days and hereby welcome our second guest blogger: Maria Køhnke
Hi, I'm Maria Køhnke. I feel very honoured to be invited to the home of the lovely Danettes! I sing, compose and produce music and hold a M.Sc. degree in digital design and communication. I have never bought a piece of new, expensive designer clothes. On the other hand I've bought extreme amounts of clothes second hand! I love cardboard, computers, miniature, haute couture and aesthetically pleasing objects in general. Looking forward to seeing you the next couple of days :-)

Metropolis by Karl
I'm truly intrigued by Karl Lagerfeld's contribution to Vogue Germany this February in which he pays homage to Fritz Lang's iconic silent movie Metropolis.
Karl shot these amazing pictures himself, transforming the wide-eyed and innocent Toni Garrn into both the glamorous Maria and the mysterious Rotwang robot, each with a hint of Marlene Dietrich.

Well hello there!
I´m deeply honoured and excited to be a guest blogger here at The Danettes, the most fabulous blog I know.
I'm typing this from my tiny, quirky flat in Copenhagen K which is full of lovely creatures and treasures such as my bearded, UK boyfriend Chris and my tiny, furry, shitzu-doggie Molly.
I make my bread and butter in advertising as a freelance copywriter – not as glamourous, alcoholic or as smoky as in the good old Mad Men days - but it's still a good way to finance my clothes, shoes, concerts, films, and holidays. I'm looking forward to sharing it all with you over the next week!

The Cherry Blossom Girl
