Some of you may have noticed that we finally got our portrait on the blog. Mette-Marie Trier has been working very hard to finish it. She worked so hard, that she ended up with two finished portraits. We are very happy with the results! Thank you MM!!!

I'm truly intrigued by Karl Lagerfeld's contribution to Vogue Germany this February in which he pays homage to Fritz Lang's iconic silent movie Metropolis.
Karl shot these amazing pictures himself, transforming the wide-eyed and innocent Toni Garrn into both the glamorous Maria and the mysterious Rotwang robot, each with a hint of Marlene Dietrich.

All that gorgeous make up! Mmmm, it was a pleasure being styled by Marie Thomsen when we had our portrait day. It took three hours to get ready so we had a lot of time to chat with sweet Marie and ask her about some of her make up tips.
Here´s some of them:
If you think it´s difficult to find the right tone for your powder you can just use a transparent one, then it wont give you any colour but still the benefits of a powder. Best mineral powder: Tromborg
If you want beautiful red lips remember a lot of moisture before you put on the colour and use a pensel to put the lipstick on, then the result will be great!
Favourite mascara: Maybeline colosal volume express
Favourite hair brush: Mason Pearson - expensive but you got it for life.
Favourite concealer: Bobby Brown or Mac

The other day The Danettes had their portrait taken! The photographer was artist Mette-Marie Trier who´s work we just love! She is every Danetta´s dream come true. We were lucky to get invited to her fabulous and very stylish appartement where we enjoyed a nice cup of coffee with some cookies before going to work. We had our portrait taken but we didn´t see the photos as they are a secret - even to us - until she has finished her work, painting and doing her magic to the portrait.
Before meeting with Mette-Marie we had great Marie Thomsen from Unique to do our hair and make up. We also got some great beauty secrets from her which we will share with you in a post soon to come!
We are looking forward to the portrait!
